Sesame Access has been shortlisted for the Franco-British Trade & Investment Awards. This is in recognition of the Sesame lifts we have designed, manufactured and installed into buildings in France.
Listed buildings are often inaccessible due to the current regulations which prevent these buildings changing their design/structure. This means disabled access lifts are not installed and instead steep, impractical ramps are used.
The 'Peoples Lift' is our newest product which incorporates the key elements for reliable and modern disabled access in a way which is cost effective to private individuals in private homes.
Sesame Access are currently in Courchevel, France, installing a disabled access lift.
Sesame Access are pleased to be working with Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (RSHP) on a town hall project in West London. This project is 'ruthlessly exclusive' and gives the Hammersmith community exclusive and well equipped facilities. This building is a Grade

The Century Project was a regeneration project for the Seattle Space Needle in Seattle. It included an installation of over 175 tons of glass including floor-to-ceiling windows on the Observation level, an exterior glass barrier wall with glass seats, a circular stair between the Observation level and the Restaurant level, and the world’s first rotating glass floor, called the Loupe. We (Sesame Access) worked on this project and installed a disabled access lift which suited American regulations.
Germany have amended Berlin's 2018 Mobility Act. This was passed by the state parliament at the end of January and is the first time a German city has put pedestrian travel on a legislative footing. This law aims to make the cities mobility ecosystem more usable for wheelchair users and the visually impaired. We offer many products which are suitable for all buildings and therefore encourge anyone in Berlin in search of disabled access to check out our product range and contact us.
Business of Design Week (BODW), the annual event hosted by Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), aims to provide insights into future design trends through a programme of talks, forums and masterclasses in venues across Hong Kong and online. Throughout the week, over 100 local and international speakers discuss topics such as connected health, safe travel and the circular economy under the theme Vision20/21. Speakers include Thomas Heatherwick, Sou Fujimoto and Elaine Yan Ling Ng.
BODW participants also have the opportunity to join a networking platform which enables them to connect and start conversations with others in the event community.
Business of Design Week takes place from 30 November to 5 December 2020 at various locations across Hong Kong and online.
