Middleport Pottery is a grade II* listed building which still houses an active pottery. It has been opened to visitors since 2014 and it required disabled access for its visitors. Our products offer a invisible and seamless design which has enabled the pottery to offer disabled access without it effecting the legal requirements of grade II* listed buildings.
This accessible lift provides disabled access from outside the building. The Windsor accessible lift has an automatic gate at the upper landing with a fixed handrail and automatic gate on the rising platform. It is also used for standing and seated users, so anyone needing to use an accessible lift may do so.
Leicester square is renowned for entertainment, retail and leisure facilities for tourists in London. It's a completely pedestrianised square in the West End of London. Due to it being so popular with tourists it is essential they make it accessible to everyone, especially wheelchair users. We installed an accessible wheelchair lift into a hotel in Leicester Square to provide accessibility to their visitors.
This mayfair lift was fitted into Oxford University to provide a disabled access lift to students and other visitors. It was fitted into a small space yet still looks seamless and is invisible when the stairs are in full form. This disabled access lift is a set of horizontally retracting stairs and a rising barrier at the upper landing.
You’ve heard of wheelchair lifts that can be fitted in people’s homes and are also used on many bus and train services to allow wheelchair users the freedom to mount or dismount with little inconvenience. However, the effort to combine the practicalities of both stairs and platform lifts has been considered a pipe dream for so long. That is until now.
