The Opportunity

We’re offering a unique 5.5-year Degree Apprenticeship in Electro-mechanical Engineering in partnership with the University of Nottingham. This is your chance to earn while you learn - combining real-world engineering experience with a fully-funded BEng (Hons) qualification.

As our next Level 6 Apprentice, you’ll join a team of highly experienced engineers (over 200 years of combined experience!) to help design, manufacture, install, and service our innovative lift systems.

What You’ll Do

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll gain skills and experience across a range of engineering functions:

  • Work hands-on in manufacturing, installing, and servicing our bespoke lifts worldwide.

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical engineering challenges.

  • Use CAD drawings and technical schematics to support product development.

  • Gain insight into project management and client liaison.

  • Visit iconic sites like the LA Clippers Stadium, the Bank of England, and overseas locations such as the USA, Australia, and Europe.

  • Participate in team activities, including our annual subsidised ski trip to Poland and summer BBQs.

Academic Study

  • Study part-time on a block-release basis at the University of Nottingham (typically four 5-day blocks per year).

  • Gain a BEng (Hons) in Electro-mechanical Engineering, fully funded by Sesame Access.

  • The Institution of Mechanical Engineers accredits the programme and culminates in a gateway review and end-point assessment.
