The Building

Kensington Palace is a royal residence set in Kensington Gardens, in London England. It has been residence of the British Royal Family since the 17th century, and is the official London residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Diana, Princess of Wales, lived at Kensington Palace from 1981 until her death in 1997.

Kensington Palace is a Grade I Listed Building.

Kensington Palace Cafe

The Sesame lift is located in the Kensington Palace Cafe, to help customers in wheelchairs to travel between upper and lower landing level. The lift is clad with the same marble as surrounding areas to make the lift blend seamlessly with its surroundings.
