- The Lift
The Cavendish Platform Lift uses the lifts surrounding walls to fully enclose the user, plus the on lift rising barrier on the open edge. Please see On Lift Barriers for more information
The lift table can be made to accept any cladding material, the thicker the cladding the deeper the pit depth.

- The Upper Landing Barrier
The Cavendish Platform Lift has glass or solid stainless steel automatic rising barriers at the upper landing to protect the fall hazard that is created when the platform moves down. The top edge of barriers is touch sensitive, when touched the barriers reverse in the direction of travel.

- Variations to the Cavendish Platform Lift
The Waterloo Lift shows an example of a lower cost option for seated users where the rise is less than 1000mm.
